Leslie J. Hall, Author & Instructor
Hello! I’m Leslie. I’m a writer and reader, a teacher and a lifelong learning student. I love anything related to words, books, movies, and writing. I believe in authors and helping would be authors get started.
When not writing mystery and romance novels, I can be found volunteering for writer events, leading Write Night, a weekly facilitated writing critique group, teaching beginning writing in adult ed, correcting others’ grammar, talking about writing, thinking about writing, and once in a while, sleeping!
Mostly, I believe in connections. In people meeting people. We can all help each other and make each other better. Good connections are win/win relationships. We help each other and we’re in it together.
As a writer, I love mysteries. I read all types, cozy and procedural, hard-boiled and soft-boiled. My current books I’m describing as humorous amateur sleuth, snarky cozy. I also read and write women’s fiction. My mysteries always have a romance element!
I hope you enjoy the tips and resources here. I’d love to connect with you in one of my classes—which are all virtual right now!
Keep on reading!
